Quick answer

BLU Dubai is a hip-hop and Afro nightclub on the 32nd floor of V Hotel at Al Habtoor City, open every night from 10 PM to 4 AM. Ladies often get in free on the guestlist, gents usually pay AED 100–200, and tables start from AED 1,000 minimum spend. Strictly 21+ with a physical ID.

BLU Dubai is one of the city’s big hip-hop clubs: a multi-level room on the 32nd floor of V Hotel, with VIP lounges, serious lighting and sound, skyline views and a different theme every night of the week. Here is what to expect before you go, from the weekly line-up to entry, tables and the dress code.

Where is BLU Dubai?

BLU Dubai is on the 32nd floor of V Hotel, Al Habtoor City, 260 Sheikh Zayed Road, in Business Bay. Tell your taxi driver “V Hotel, Habtoor City”. Valet parking is available, or you can use the public car park across Sheikh Zayed Road. PAPA Dubai is in the same complex, so it is easy to plan a night around both. Find the map, opening hours and photos on the BLU Dubai venue page.

What’s on at BLU Dubai each night?

BLU is open every night from 10 PM to 4 AM, and each night has its own sound:

  • Monday, Big Mondays: all hip-hop, from old-school classics to the newest rap records.

  • Tuesday, We Outside: Afrobeats, amapiano and Afro fusion with a feel-good crowd.

  • Wednesday, Urban Wednesdays: hip-hop, R&B and dancehall, midweek but never quiet.

  • Thursday, Shutdown: trap and new-wave hip-hop with heavy bass and bold lights.

  • Friday, Localand: urban, Afro and house with surprise acts and live performances.

  • Saturday, The BLU Show: the main event, with all music styles, big production and surprise artists.

  • Sunday, La Parisienne by Futur: a Paris-meets-Dubai party night with the resident DJ.

Live artists at BLU Dubai

Since opening in 2021, BLU has hosted artists such as Chris Brown, Quavo and Wizkid, and it regularly books live shows from international hip-hop and Afro artists on top of the weekly nights. Headline shows are announced week by week, so check what’s coming up on the BLU Dubai venue page before you pick a night.

How much is entry at BLU Dubai?

You can get in without a table. On regular nights, ladies can often enter free on our guestlist (see ladies nights in Dubai), and gents usually pay around AED 100–200, sometimes with 1–2 drinks included. On live artist nights, ladies get in free before midnight and pay AED 100 after, while gents pay AED 200. BLU is strictly 21+ and asks for a valid physical ID every time, with no exceptions.

BLU Dubai table prices

Tables are a minimum spend per table, not per person. On a regular night the ground floor looks like this:

  • Small tables for 2: from AED 1,000 and AED 2,000.

  • Group tables for 4–8 guests: around AED 3,000–4,000.

  • VIP booths for 6–8 guests: around AED 6,000–8,000.

  • Stage VIP tables: from AED 10,000, up to AED 15,000 for the front row at the stage.

On live artist nights, tables start from about AED 4,000 and the price depends on the artist and the table, so we confirm it when you book. New to minimum spends? Read table bookings in Dubai, explained.

What is the dress code at BLU Dubai?

Streetwear or casual chic. Flip-flops, beachwear, kanduras, scarves and face coverings are not allowed, and the door team can refuse entry if the dress code isn’t followed. Ladies nights lean classy, so leave the sportswear and caps at home. More tips in our Dubai club dress code guide.
